City descritpion
Strolling along the Walk of Fame, shopping at the Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or driving along the Sunset Boulevard are among the most popular activities in Los Angeles. With its countless entertainment options, its varied range of museums and the flair of Hollywood, the second largest city of the United States attracts more than one million visitors per year. Along the coast, Venice Beach and Santa Monica are the perfect place for sunbathing and watersports while a stroll along the Venice Boardwalk is popular among inhabitants, tourists and artists alike.
The port of Long Beach is situated about 30 kilometers south of the city center of Los Angeles. Long Beach has many attractions itself, for example the Museum of Art, Rancho Los Alamitos and the historic Queen Mary from the 1930s which is now a hotel.
